added Jonathan Wilkes' canvasinfo and pdinfo externals (see http://osdir.com/ml/multimedia.puredata.devel/2007-10/msg00136.html)

1st step in syncing latest pdp and pidip with fixes/changes to make it work with latest version of libs

updated Makefiles for merged libraries, improved gem2pdp config file hopefully fixing Fero Kiraly's build error. Updated pd-l2ork-TODO.txt file reflecting newly synced externals.

	changed the first sentence to use "program" instead of "filter."
	fixed some capitalization in the last sentence.

	Updated to note that using the inlets and outlets does the exact
	same thing as clicking on the boxes in the object.
