@jwilkes It seems that when merging this you accidentally reverted 6d1527e7 and went back to the old pd-lua version again. :( Can we please revert that part of the changeset? (I'll take care of that in !514 (merged).)

Ok, fixed this in !514 (merged) now. Next time please remind the students to rebase their branches before merging them, in order not to stomp on other peoples' work. ;-) Thanks.

@guillembartrina No worries, we all make mistakes. ;-) This one was rather easy to make if you don't rebase your branch and/or watch out in your final changeset for any unexpected changes to stuff that you didn't intend to change.

Anyway, I really appreciate your work, you've made some awesome contributions during GSoC! I've been using your improvements to intelligent patching even before Jonathan merged them, and the new abstraction saving feature is looking good as well. These are incredibly useful and real timer savers. Keep up the good work. :)
