GUI changes not reflecting properly in canvas (web app)

As we change GUI the changes are not reflected in canvas as they should have like the canvas of the native app.

Steps to replicate behaviour:

1. Go to preferences in edit menu.
2. Go to GUI and change to any GUI(preferably ones with colored background).
