Port pd-l2ork upstream commits from Dec 7, 2015
This improves the handling of $ substitutions in GUI elements. It also fixes the atom and iemgui property bugs reported in #195 (closed).
Please check #195 (closed) for details including pointers to the relevant upstream commits. Also note that I didn't use exactly the same C code here (the upstream code was unnecessarily complicated, so I simplified it). The JS code is of course very different to the upstream Tcl code changes, but it should behave identically AFAICT.
