Ask to save edited patch

A prompt will ask the user to save the patch if it has been edited before closing it. Fixes #849

This is strange-- it asks me to enter a filename if I do "File -> Close" in the canvas menu. Shouldn't it pop up a dialog asking me if I want to save the file?
