reformat and comment out relevant debugging messages

fix display bug with cord inspector flash (plus adding it to the css)

change msg box border to blue when editing. Unfortunately this is hardcoded (need to look into perhaps using a mask to make it theme-able)

use svg background-image for box instead of box-shadow. The left side of the box-shadow was 2-pixels wide, so this should look better

remove old file. Started developing with a test version called 'pd_canvas.html', and eventually forgot about original
